Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy or BCST is a soft touch and subtle holistic healing modality that allows our bodies to return to a sense of wholeness and health.
 
With lineage in Osteopathy, the Biodynamic model acknowledges “The Breath of Life” which is an inherent force that breathes the body and expresses itself as tide-like rhythms that can be palpated. This Biodynamic Life Force is ever present in the human system and does its best to maintain and keep us in balance and good health. 
 
As we do our best to cope with life, unprocessed life events may be held in our bodies. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can help us to come into relationship with our bodies. This allows the body to process at its own pace and helps to restore balance and health to our nervous system, musculoskeletal system, circulatory system and organs to name a few.  This may result in reduced pain, better sleep, clarity of thoughts, better digestion and improved mental health.

What might a session look and feel like?

Sessions take place fully clothed, lying on a massage table facing upward or lying on one side. Sitting is an option if it is more comfortable.

 

With a light hands-on contact with the body, various sensations may be experienced such as  wave-like movements, the heart beat slowing down, warmth or coolness on the skin and a lengthening of a body part. At times there may be pain or discomfort, however an acknowledgement and giving space for the body to express, can also lead to relief.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can deeply support an array of illnesses, dis-eases and symptoms related to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.
